THE CROWN INN BLACKHEATH, LONDON
16/05/2011
I always start off with the room shots, these take a bit of time as it is setting up the tripod and using long exposures to bring in as much natural light as possible to create a warm environment in the photographs. Once I had covered the interior and captured some abstract images it was then a case of speaking t the regulars to make sure that they were happy to be in the photos, no problems and as the images will be used for Shepherd Neame's marketing and the Crown Inn's website. The Crown Inn is situated just on the edge of the main stretch in Blackheath and its courtyard was starting to fill up with customers, after getting some candids and wide photos of the area it was a chance to get a quick half and then off to London Bridge to get the 17.49 train back home, longer journey then the fast train but gave me the opportunity to back up the images from the day as well as catch up on some e mails.
