KESTREL HOUSE SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON
16/05/2011
The school has recently been acquired by Acorn Care and Education Group and their was a need to get some new photography of the school, staff and pupils. These school photographs will be used for the web, brochure and marketing purposes. After a lively musical class I then went around each classroom to capture the mornings activities to give a variety of imagery for the client. All of the pictures were taken with the 1D MKIV and 24-70mm lens, the rooms are very light and airy which made for great use of natural light and also a good learning environment for the staff and pupils.
After finishing after lunchtime I phoned fellow pro and Professional Photographer columnist Peter Dench who lives just around the corner. We met at Spiazzo's a friendly Italian restaurant which offered good food and drink. We caught up about the business and Peter's recent job for the Daily Telegraph covering his alternate take on the royal wedding. After a couple of hours of chat I then headed off to Blackheath for the afternoon shoot at the Crown Inn for Shepherd Neame.
