FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY LIGHTING COURSE CANTERBURY

15/05/2011
Photographs taken during the fashion lighting workshop in Canterbury
With Elika, Kelly, Natalie, Sonia and Thomas modelling we had a great variety of looks and styles. Make up was covered by Elika from Dress my Face and hair and styling by Mia. We had a variety of lighting set ups on the day, including Bowen's 500 watt heads, 300 watt lighting set up, portable flash and some modelling lights which were aided with reflectors. Some of the
lighting set ups were justbdown to ansingle light and the more complexed used a variation of three lighting set ups with the studio lights along with three speed lights and reflectors.

The aim of the course was to make people more aware of the advantages of using artificial lighting in different environments, and also working together as a team as the groups were split t in to couples. The models had two to three different looks during the day and with Mia's creative skills their was a great diversity in the final shots taken during the course. The next fashion workshop will be taking place at the historic Brooklands motor and aviation museum in Surrey, date to be confirmed but during September. Please contact me for further details.
