BMW 1M CAR PHOTOGRAPHY

The 1M boasts a £40,000 price tag but with sub 0-60 figures of 4.7 seconds and a 3.0 litre twin turbo that pushes out 335 bhp it is super car performance. The most striking aspect of the cars is the burnt orange metallic paint which really suits the cars aggressive stance. From a photographic point of view their was most notably the paint work, blue and orange stitching and the 19" rims that the car sits on. After some close ups of the interior and exterior I set up two off camera speed lights to cover some portraits of the car, both lights were set to left and right of camera at 45 degree angles with the heads angled as well, this just allows the fill in light o fall off very discretely on to the car. I haven't had the chance to drive this car yet but with another 85 bhp over my Megane RS it may not be a bad thing to just take photos rather then being tempted by a drive.
