CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL CHOIR

The requirements were for various group photos of the whole choir, and then some single groups with choirmaster David Flood plus some individual portraits, some staged and a few of the choristers singing. The images below show a mix of both, the chorister singing was lit with natural light with the aid of a reflector just under neath his chin to lift some light on his face and remove the shadows. The second photo was with a single off camera flash, been using this technique quite a lot recently, mainly due to the sun and also just to make some more dramatic portraits, the speed lights offer great flexibility plus they are extremely portable.
