PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2013 SUBMISSIONS

The competition categories have been changed slightly with the fashion and beauty changing to lifestyle, I entered a few photos taken this year during fashion and photography courses including a few in black and white. The 50mm category really interests me and this is a lens that I have been using more and more this year for portraiture, the minimal depth of field and focal length make you think a lot more about the overall composition and aperture.

Looking forward to seeing the final selection of images that have been shortlisted soon in the Professional Photographer magazine, fingers crossed!
