MILLIE KNIGHT SKIER PORTRAITS CANTERBURY
02/11/2013
Millie had just been interviewed by the Kentish Gazette and needed to send over some recent portraits, so today was an ideal chance as Millie had also received some new sponsors since last years shoot. The Innovation centre in Canterbury where my office is based was the location and with some autumnal blue skies and bright sunshine I used a variety of different backdrops to give Millie a mix for the forthcoming season ahead. The photos will be used for press, social media and also to promote to prospective new sponsors.
I used the 24-70mm 2.8 lens and done a mix of natural light, off camera flash and the large lastolite reflector to bounce back the sun on to the subject. Backdrops were the side of the offices which has a dark charcoal finish, some alpine trees and a large blue boarding which contrasted really well with the GB red and blue colours.
