LONGDON HALL EDUCATION PHOTOGRAPHY STAFFORDSHIRE

The school like many of Acorn Care groups establishments is to educate children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. This means that the classrooms are small and a lot of learning is on a one to one basis, this is important to show in the photographs and also to put across a mix of fun and educational scenarios.
The School is in an idyllic setting and with woods backing on to the premises their are a lot of outdoor activities along with art, cooking, mechanics and music lessons where the students have one to one lessons with a professional musician. The 24-70mm lens was used throughout the day as it gave me scope to go wide or crop in for some tighter shots as some pupils could not be photographed. The day ended with some of the staff and students covering basic survival skills in the woodland area by building shelters, given the wet weather it wasn't a bad idea.
