We decided to stick to the same set up as last week, 1D with the 135mm and Clare with the 5D and 17-40mm lens for the wider stage photographs. With a show like this the lighting is constantly changing but nowhere near as fast as a gig so we could pick the different lighting moods to take our images, the 135mm was set to ISO 800 with manual settings ranging from 1/80th of a second to 1/160th with apertures between 2.0-3.5, again depending on how bright or dark the light was. Clare used the 17-40mm to great effect and for the University the images we captured will give a great story of the performance, which was excellent, great acting singing and choreography, plus lighting as well. The singing plant was hilarious and brilliantly designed. The show finished just before 10pm, a busy day but a great way for it to end with a great show.
