EBACE AVIATION PHOTOGRAPHY GENEVA, SWITZERLAND
19/05/2011
The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) is a premier event and the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community. The exhibition brings together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, corporate aviation department personnel and all manner of people involved in nearly all aspects of business aviation. New business aircraft firms, avionics firms, handling organizations, fractional providers, charter/lease companies and previously titled aircraft resellers display their wares. The brief for today was to cover the aircraft that Private Jet Charter used for their clients and was also an opportunity to look at some new products on the market, exterior and interior photographs were the main requirement as well as a variety of abstract images which could be used for the companies marketing material.
Despite the BBC forecast the weather was warm and sunny, just over 25 degrees and with blue skies and dramatic clouds gave a real dynamic to the aircraft photographs. It was a full on day and with so may aircraft that were on our list gave a real insight to a different world, when one of the salesmen answered my question of how much one aircraft was, he said "45", add six 0's to that and a deep breath follows! I wouldn't have minded but this was for a two year old jet! Kit wise as we were flying in and out on the same day the 1D MKIV, 17-40mm and 70-200mm along with a Speedlight covered every eventuality. We finished up with some lifestyle images of model Kelly who I have worked with recently back in the UK in and around the jets. After the show finished time for some food and coffee before heading back for our 19.10 flight, an hour and five minutes from Geneva to London Gatwick and back home.
