CAR PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE AT BROOKLANDS, SURREY
16/04/2011
With eight photographers and eight cars and the amazing backdrops at Brooklands it gave everybody a variety of images from the day. We started off with the open tops of the Maserati, Morgan and Merlin kit car, these all posed challenges in theirselves with the bright sunshine, white, cream and black paintwork are both at the extremes and with careful positioning and angles their were some very strong photos. The Gordon Keeble, of which only 100 were ever made during the 60's was the star of the show, its glorious rich blue paintwork really stood out and looked great in front of Concorde and also the lone cockpit in the airfield (as shown). The Caterham on the banking looks like it was going fast but this was taken during the group photo line up where Roy was getting the car in to position, probably about 15 mph with a shutter speed of 1/80th second and panned to give the effect of speed.
The next course is on May 22nd, but as with June's is fully sold out. Next spaces available are August 13th and September 11th, more details can be found under the training section of the website header, or please contact me direct if you have any questions at all.
