ROTARY POLIO DAY

10/03/2011
Rotary Polio day at Minster on Sea
The plan for the helicopter trip had been to get some aerial shots of the 1000's of crocuses that had been planted last year in aid of Polio, the purple crocus symbolises the colour of the dye that is used once a person gets treated for polio. So as we were not airborne the next best spectacle was 100's of balloons being let out on the coast, made for some great photos and with addition of a local school who had been involved in the Roteract club we had a good audience for the coverage. To find out more about the great work that Rotary does across the world as well as locally take a look online.
