FINE WATCHES PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographing watches is always a challenge, loads of reflections, being careful not to get any prints on the timepieces and also having the right light to showcase the product at its very best. The Cartier Roadster with its gold finish had a warmth to the bracelet and rather then using harsh flash lighting I chose to use a constant daytime light, fixed oil a tripod and with a barn door adapter I was able to get the lighting in precise areas of the watch.

Have a few more next week to photograph, i'll then do a few photos of the set up and products i'm using.
