BMW M2 CS CAR PHOTOGRAPHY
19/11/2020
The car photography shot was for BMW Car magazine and to make it more interesting we had arranged for another M2 to be featured in the shoot, Hamzah's M2 Competiton had literally all of the option boxes ticked so it was a half way point between a standard M2 Comp and the limited M2 CS. Just to make the numbers up I borrowed a stock M2 Comp from Barretts BMW in Canterbury, first time I have driven one and the trio of different colours added to the feature, plus it gave me a chance to drive this much praised coupe.
The M2 CS in Misano Blue sets off the unique gold wheels nicely and this example has literally just been collected from the dealer and put into storage by the owner, he has even kept the consignment stickers on the car as well. The feature will be focusing on the CS but also showing the differences between the three variants, coming in at around £85,000 with carbon ceramics its an expensive bit of kit, but from the praise the motoring press have given this car it is justified, especially in the limited numbers.
Have to say the M2 Competition that I borrowed in Long Beach blue was superb, a great all rounder and mated with the DCT gearbox its spritely, comfortable and handles brilliantly. The current issue of BMW Car mag is out now and well worth getting a copy as the article establishes the M2 CS as one of the best cars to have been produced from the M performance camp for some time.
