BMW M3 TWIN CAR PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT
06/07/2020
I had met up with James from Shine Auto at a series of car group meets and with both M3 owners living nearby we used his detailing unit as a base for the twin convertible shoot. Andrew's silver M3 E36 still looks as good as new and was nice contrast with Ant's E46 model. After a series of interior and exterior photos we then set off for a short drive and some lovely open roads set within the Kent countryside, the weather was perfect as plenty of cloud cover allowed for some dramatic image.
I've been using the Profoto lighting constantly with my car photography for nine years now and a mix of 24-70mm and 70-200mm zoom lenses, with such a wide range of focal lengths these are generally default lenses for most automotive photographers although the 50mm Sigma art lens does come in to the mix now and then. The twin M3 photo shoot will be in a future issue of BMW car magazine, also have a stunning red 335i convertible coming up very soon.
