SANTA POD RACEWAY PHOTOGRAPHY

Santa Pod hosts over 50 events including: National drag race meetings, modified car shows, VW Beetle & Camper festivals, Japanese performance car events, retro & classic car events, Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) and Drift What Ya Brung (DWYB) public track days. Simply Mustangs hired the track for the day and with in excess of 120 cars it showed off the classics right through to the modern S550 models, Haynes of Maidstone kindly loaned me their Need for Green demonstrator for the day, the colour certainly stood out on a glorious Summer's day.

I covered the photography for the event and having only visited the strip many years ago it was good to be back, a really friendly and relaxed environment with a days driving on the agenda, plus the odd burn out here and there! I had access at the side of the lanes and from behind as well, the wide angle lens gave a nice perspective of the Mustangs and track with the legendary Santa Pod logo in the background.
