PR PHOTOGRAPHY KENT AND ESSEX
16/12/2013
The first jobs I used to get when I started were public relation photographs, these are used in a variety of ways for clients and there advertising agencies. I remember the picture editor from the Kent Messenger always advising me to get safe shots, nothing too elaborate or angular that would put the press off of using the images. I have always remembered this advice and if time permits then done something a little bit quirky, both of these jobs were determined by time and with the Post Office relaunch in Cliftonville, Kent the visiting MP only had a short amount of time in her busy schedule.
The Asda PR shoot was in Romford, Essex where the local store had donated a large amount of hampers to the local community centre, the photos had to show Asda branded goods and a mix of portraits and group photos. Some PR jobs do lend themselves to a variety of shots but in these two cases nicely composed and well lit images were the order of the day.
