EAST KENT COLLEGE DAY FURTHER EDUCUATION PHOTOGRAPHY IN KENT
08/10/2013
The College has an impressive set up for its catering facilities, TV chef Gary Rhodes was a former student and regularly visits the campus. With its own restaurant on site that is open to the public this creates a realistic training area for the chefs and waiting staff to learn the trade in terms of food presentation and front of house service. Other areas covered today were barbering, carpentry, plumbing, theatrical make up plus a work placement for a student who is currently working in Asda.
As the day came to a close a quick review with the marketing team of todays images and a few final shots and it is back to the office to back up the images ready for the last two days editing. Again today I used the 24-70mm lens, as mentioned before it was paramount that the subject was predominately left of frame so that the right hand sides shallow depth of field was clean and had space for text to be overlaid upon it. Looking forward to editing the images now and seeing them soon on the new website.
