INSTITUTE OF FINANCIAL SERVICES NEW CAMPUS PHOTOGRAPHY LONDON
23/09/2013
The event had a select guest list with eighty people attending to see the campus officially opened by The Right Honourable David Willett MP, the guests looked around the building afterwards which will give the IFS a lot more scope with future facilities for students. The brief was to cover the guests chatting and enjoying the occasion with drinks and canopies offered by the catering staff.
Before people started to arrive I covered some interior and exterior photos of the building along with some detail shots, lens wise the 24-70mm covered the building photographs and the 50mm and 135mm prime lenses for the guest photos. Their was a mix of lighting which was a test for the 1DX's metering system and auto focus, suffice to say it worked perfectly. The 50mm at times on the 5D III and 1D4 could hunt around quite a bit at 1.2-1.6 but no problem on the 1DX, Canon really have got the focusing spot on with this camera.
