CORPORATE PORTRAITS CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY KENT
02/09/2013
The head shots at Canterbury Christ Church University were first taken inside against a plain white backdrop, with the aid of a reflector this helped to balance the light and shadows on the subjects face. I also converted these portraits in to black and white with the excellent NIK software black and white programme which acts as a plug in on CS6.
The next set of photos were outside and more informal, all portraits were taken at an aperture of F2.8 to throw the background out and the foliage acted as a nice neutral setting. The shoot ended with a few group photos, these also converted very nicely in to mono, shot with the sun behind the group and with the 600 speed lite in manual mode and acting as a great fill in flash to light all of the subjects.
