ITALIAN SUPER CAR PHOTOGRAPHY IN MODENA, ITALY
14/08/2013
The trip started at Manston airport in Thanet, with am early flight to Amsterdam via KLM airways and then a change over to Bologna direct it actually saved time and money rather then going the usual Gatwick/M25 debacle that causes stress levels before you have even stepped in to the airport. After arriving in Bologna just after midday and picking up our Kia C'eed hire car (the Panda wasn't available!) we headed in to the town centre for a traditional Italian lunch. We then set off to the four star Hotel Real Fina, not the greatest looking on the outside but the interior was plush and regal with super car memorabilia on display, the Italian's really do know how to promote their history and passion.
Over the next four days we would visit the homes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani and Maserati, the last two were shut due to the Italian's month long August holiday, the Museo Ferrari was adorned with the most iconic super cars history in abundance and the Le Ferrari was also on display. In between we covered Lake Garda and Verona, the latter a truly stunning setting and graced with designer boutiques, opera and historic monuments.
