WESTGATE TOWERS GAOL CAFE CANTERBURY KENT

Photographs from the Westgate Towers Gaol cafe in Canterbury
As the cafe has only been open a few weeks now we had been asked to take some photographs of the cafe for the Westgate museums website as well as for local publicity and press use. The restaurant has a head chef, Alan who I had coincidentally photographed last year when he worked for the New Flying Horse, this was due to Alan being awarded the Shepherd Neame chef of the year, I can vouch for the quality of food which is based around Kent produce and looks and tastes stunning. We covered a mix of staff, food and venue photographs as well as sampling the coffee which puts the well known coffee chains to shame. It was also a chance for me to try my recent purchase of the stunning 50mm 1.2 lens, this piece of glass is simply stunning and with such a wide open depth of field the ambient light comes flooding in, looking forward to using this during the course of the week as their are a few assignments that will put it to the test.
