ST EDMUND'S SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY KENT
30/03/2011
With the Royal wedding looming the school had been preparing for the celebrations by making life size Will and Kate models. Once I had covered some confetti and group photos it was rime to move on and cover some classroom images, one which was to be used for a poster and banner design. With the window light behind me the balance with the tungsten lighting in the classroom was almost natural, just a very few tweaks with the colour temperature in post production the skin tones were spot on. Kept to the 135mm F2.0 lens which allows for great shallow depth of field and from distance works well for tight crips with the children unaware of me being their after a few minutes and not aware that they were having their photos taken. Off afterwards to Christ Church University to cover some portrait and concert photographs of Vladimir Ashkenazy, one of the greatest piano players in the world.
