BROOKLANDS MORRIS AUSTIN DAY

06/03/2011
Morris Austin owners day at Brooklands
I parked up just after 10am and with a lot of cars turning up it was a great opportunity to cover the arrivals and some candids of the various owners in a wide range of Austin's and Morris'. Brought back a few memories seeing a trio of Princess' turn up as well as a variety of Morris Minors, a real British icon. The day was full of variety with test hill open for any willing participants to drive their vehicles up the hill, I struggled walking up their so it was no surprise to see some of the older vehicles crawling up at a snails pace. Today was a great opportunity to meet up with members of the Brooklands trust as well as car owners, the event finished with all of the vehicles on display driving in a cavalcade around the banking and past Concorde. Haven't started to go through the final images yet so will post a selection up during the course of the week showing some other car photos, favourite picture so far though is of Chris Nicholl's on the banking, the cigarette really made the picture.
