Head Chef Alistair Lycett prepares food at the Sun Inn
I was booked for an hour and with the restaurant host to around fifty people it was an intimate evening with senior brewer Stewart Main and his colleague Ian Barsby giving a talk between courses about six different beers and how they partner food. It was an interesting talk and the diners had a comments card as well to give feedback to the different beers on offer. Camera set up straight forward, 1DIII with flash in manual mode and the 24-70mm on for most of the evening. Nice to see a few familiar faces at the meal as well, four in fact, I left just after 8.30pm and took a bottle of Up and Under ale with me which Stewart kindly gave me. First thing I done when I arrived home was to try the new ale, certainly gets the thumbs up from me.
