CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY PROSPECTUS PHOTOGRAPHY

The photography for the University this week was taking place over two days, the second being Thursday and the brief was very precise as Nik who does the design for the prospectus had a clear idea of the spacing that he needed around the images for text and other content to go. We had the use of ten students throughout the day and included various set ups at Augustine House, the town centre and the main campus. We had a good mix of models/studentsfor the shoot and ended up with a greats et of images which Nik was pleased with, roll on for some more good weather on Thursday where we will be covering the sports centre and more areas around the campus.

I used the 1D III today with the 24-70mm lens, some fill in off camera flash was needed at times as well, this was mainly to balance the dark foreground and bright background, apertures were generally set around F4 as my main focus was quite close on the students this then gave a natural depth of field in the background.
