ST EDMUND'S DAY SERVICE PHOTOGRAPHY

Autumn was coming to an end but on a bright and fresh morning their was still some colours in the trees, this made for a nice backdrop to capture the teachers and pupils as they made their way from the school to the concert hall, just a short walk away. The photography was to document the whole occasion, the speeches, choir singing and this is the only time of the year when the whole school is together so it was important to capture some wide photos of the Colyer-Fergusson concert hall showing everybody together.

I used two cameras, with the 70-200mm lens to capture candids and the speeches plus isolated images of the choir singing. The super wide angle 14-24mm lens captured the concert hall, showing the whole audience in attendance.
