FOOD AND DRINK PHOTOGRAPHY IN LONDON

London has a number of the breweries public houses across the capital and recently I have been spending the afternoon and evening covering these over a three week period, generally on a Thursday, generally a good day for business men and women to refresh themselves after a busy day at work. The new look websites require wider imagery and since I have started the project a 20mm prime wide angle lens has been the sole piece of glass used, with an aperture that goes down to 1.8 it is perfect to cope with the low ambient lighting of the pub interiors.

I generally tend to take the D4S with me for the pub photography, it is a heavy body but in low light is just that bit quicker then the D810, plus the 20mm lens is so light that it makes a good overall balance. The photographs will also be used for other marketing purposes by the Faversham based brewery, especially across social media and printed media.
