Chilham Castle and Country Park is situated just outside of Canterbury and provided the perfect location for the International horse trials this weekend, with dressage, show-jumping and cross-country combining the competition for the horses and riders.

I was covering the event for Barretts Jaguar Land Rover who have been a long standing sponsor of this event, this meant covering the photography of the three disciplines as well as incorporating some of the static cars on display. On the Saturday I covered the dressage and some of the show jumping, the stunning Chilham house and castle made the perfect backdrop for the event. Sunday was more focused on the cross country events and with steep hills, water jumps and the challenging ground of the park it made for some great action photography. I used a mix of 70-200mm, 300mm prime and the 24-70mm wide telephoto to cover the Chilham horse trials. The images will be used by Barretts Jaguar Land Rover for promotional and advertising purposes.
