BLOG 2016

Summer is always a busy time of the year, generally because the weather is good (sometimes anyway) and for the majority of companies it is a chance to get some new images for trade shows, publications and annual reports...
Country Style recycling have provided a challenge over the last couple of weeks on a grand scale, making recycling look dramatic was the remit and with the vast scale of the companies operations and some dramatic skies it all came together. The large HGV in the foreground looked impressive on its own, add in a truck and the Profoto B1 lighting unit and shooting against the sun made for a powerful image. A lot of the photos will be used for a forthcoming trade show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Over the Summer the marathon of pub photography for Faversham brewery Shepherd Neame continues, recently the locations were in the coast, Broadstairs and Deal. The weather was good and photographing the staff and customers if the main focus for the images, these will be used on the micro websites to showcase the pubs.

The new Jaguar F Pace has been winning awards and receiving great reviews over the motoring press recently, the silver 2.0 diesel I borrowed from Barretts Jaguar in Canterbury was to highlight the recognition on the companies website and across social media. The location was in Graveney just outside of Whitstable, the church entrance created the framing with a Profoto B1 hidden out of shot providing some fill in light.
