Built in 1894 by Sir Alfred Yarrow the large Jacobethan-style building has a long and illustrious history, situated on the East Kent College Broadstairs campus tonight was the official opening to staff and Governors of the College.

With training at its heart, The Yarrow has recently been extensively refurbished to create the Yarrow Hotel within the grounds of East Kent College. This combines the best of the building’s history with modern convenience and luxury to ensure your stay is perfect. With 23 bedrooms and five suites, The Yarrow offers a range of choices whatever your requirements.

A spa and salon compliment the Yarrow Hotel, giving guests the opportunity to indulge in a variety of pampering treatments. The Yarrow’s fine dining restaurant offers high-quality, locally sourced, classic and contemporary dishes for every occasion, with private dining available for groups of all sizes. The Yarrow Hotel also has space for parties of up to 120 guests making the hotel the ideal location for any event.

The photography brief was to cover the hotel photography from all arts, these included bedroom photos, staff, students, customers and also general images inside and outside of the building, showing a range of facilities that are on offer. Hospitality photography has to show a diversity of what is on offer, when people look to book accommodation or somewhere to eat the photos are at the heart of the website and brochures. I have a second session booked in towards the end of the month when the hotel will be fully up and running.
