Employability Points are a scheme where students earn points by participating in networking events, work placements and other business and charity events. It is a great way for them to take a look at the world of business outside of University life, I am one of the local businesses taking part in 2016 with a work placement with one of the Universities students over the Summer. Chatham Historic Dockyards has a close connection with the University as their business school and fine art campuses are on site, the old Church provided an atmospheric setting for the evening which had just under 200 guests in attendance.

The photography covered the sponsors, students networking, key speeches by local companies who have supported the scheme and also a performance by The Voice finalist Jamie Johnson, he is from Medway and showed how he has made a career for himself in the music world with a fine vocal performance on stage. The event photography for Kent University will go out to the local press, social media avenues, sponsors and also be used for forthcoming EP events to promote next years scheme.
