Once I arrived at Brooklands as is often the case the weather lifted and the sun descended on the old garages and on Concorde, looks like the weather was going to be on my side and the six photographers who attended the photography training course. Apart from the odd shower, which if anything enhanced the photographs of the cars for the close up abstract images it was a perfect day. The cars on show ranged from a classic 1930's Ford to the brand new Lotus Evora 400, a couple of Morgans, Mustang, F Type and an AC Cobra completed the collection of cars for everybody to photograph.

The course covers composition, angles, lighting and capturing some iconic cars and using the historic backdrop of Brooklands Museum for the automotive photography course in Weybridge, Surrey. The range of photographers on the course was a mix, some attendees had just purchased there digital SLR's and others had experience but just not had the opportunity to arrange car shoots at a designated location.

The next car photography course at Brooklands is on Sunday 12th June, other courses can be found under the training section of this website, these include beginners courses and fashion photography workshops, all are £150 and include lunch. Any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.
