I have been covering photography for Pilgrim's English school for a number of years now, there new offices sit just outside of the main town centre of Canterbury with great access to Canterbury west station which is ideal for there students in terms of location. The portrait photos of the staff today was taken in the new open plan office, with the weather outside providing constant rain these initial photos were taken inside. Lighting was by a single SB910 speed light on a stand, just off camera to the left. The Nikon D810 has a command facility where the on camera pop up flash provides a minimal flash to fire off the SB910, this can control also a number of speed lights. All setting were in manual with the depth of field being set at F4, just enough to blur the background and leave space around the subjects.
