The MG day tied in with nicely with me covering a one to one (or one to two!) training session with budding amateur photographers Martin and Tom who were with me during the day picking up tips on composition and techniques. With hopefully the first sign of some Spring sunshine their was a good attendance on show to celebrate the MG sports car company from its early models right through to the MG 6 saloon. As ever the photography was to document the day for Brooklands and the images will be used for press and on line marketing.

The days one to one photography training was a good test for Martin and Tom as we were covering cars, people and also panning techniques out on the Mercedes test circuit. Martin had just purchased a Nikon D3200 and had a wealth f knowledge with film cameras but had admitted that since his digital purchase the auto setting had been on most of the time. Tom had a Sony Alpha A6000 which is a compact system camera, it has full manual functions just like an SLR and the ability to change lenses as well, just in a smaller design. The key to todays photography training at Brooklands in Weybridge, Surrey was to master the depth of filed with the aperture controls, this worked at its best in the stunning interior of Mercedes World where classics, Formula 1 and modern cars were on display. The weather helped a great deal with the training and gave some challenges against some of the gleaming paintwork and chrome on display.

For more details on the photography courses that I run please take a look at the training pages, one to one sessions can be arranged in any area of photography that you are looking to cover, please contact me for more information as these are bespoke courses. Gift vouchers are also available.
