I have known Simon for nearly eighteen years now through the car dealership Barrett's of Canterbury and was honoured when he asked me to photograph his wedding to Sarah. As Simon works for the Canterbury Land Rover dealership he turned up in a super charged Range Rover Sport, you could hear the 5 litre engine as he came up the impressive driveway to the Manor. A group of forty five people attended the wedding and with the plush surroundings inside and out this made for some intimate and relaxed photographs. There was also a theme of Lego for the wedding breakfast, some clever designs by best man Graham made the theme work for the children and adults, a nice touch of lego kits for the youngsters kept them occupied.

The day stayed dry until the sit down meal, with the forecast from the met office this morning right for once. The 70-200mm lens and 50mm were attached to the two 1D's, covering every angle and eventuality. The couples three children were an important part of the day, especially baby Brooke who was the centre of attention. The day ended for me just after the speeches, a great day and nice to see Simon and Sarah relaxed during the wedding at Eastwell Manor, this really came across in the wedding photographs.
