The main part of the Vickers Suite has a Vickers Vimy classic aircraft as its backdrop, alongside it today was the iconic Napier Railton. Hosting the event was racing legend and TV presenter Tiff Needell who is also a patron of the Brooklands Museum charity. After introductions the invited guests were treated to a variety of canapés and desserts from the Creative Events team, once lunch was over their were tours of the stratosphere chamber, Concorde and the 4D Napier Railton experience, Visitors to the Museum can now take their seats for the ride of their life in a brand new, state-of-the-art 4D Theatre. Just as John Cobb and Sir Malcolm Campbell did in the 1930s, you can now see, hear, feel and even smell what it would have been like to race around the concrete banked circuit in a pre-War racing car. This made for a variety of fun shots from the guests.

As the day came to a close their was a prize draw raffle with various experiences to be won. I used two cameras with the 50mm F1.2 and 16-35mm F4 lens fitted, both lenses provided me with a great amount of options to show off the guests enjoying the day in the surroundings of the museum for the event photography at Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey. The 4D experience is £8 for adults and £4 for children, great fun and an opportunity to see what it was like to be in the seat of the Napier Railton.
