KAYAKING ADVENTURER PORTRAITS

Susie Chassagne is taking on a kayaking expedition to the Alps in the Summer time, with no experience and looking for experts in the field of the sport she is embarking on a challenging trek to show that anything is possible when your life hits a traumatic event, today was the second series of photos that will be used in Kent Life magazine...

Susie is considering the Sunshine Run and perhaps Brandon Gorge, depending on water levels and how much of an awesome paddler she has become. She is looking for the help of 4-5 experienced paddlers to help her get down safely.

The photographs were to show Susie getting ready for another session off at Lea Valley park where Team GB wine their skills on the challenging man made course. Their are plenty companies on board who are helping out with sponsorship and guidance for the trip. The photos had to show the various companies kit, clothing and also some PR photos with sponsored banners and branding. On a wet Winter's Saturday morning I used the Profoto A1, this new addition to the kit bag provides a real punch of light from such a compact unit and when fitted off camera on a light stand provides real flexibility.

Susie is using this trip to raise funds for the Blackthorn Trust charity, a charity that she works for and helps people turn their lives around, these photographs will be used for Kent Life Magazine and other press outlets to promote the kayaking Alps adventure.
